Well, tomorrow is the last day of 2024, and I gotta be honest, it could have been better. I will be entering 2025 with low expectations because every time I hope for the following year to be an improvement, something happens to tell me otherwise, a curse that I think started around 2019. I'm tired of being disappointed, and I can't take it anymore. My only approach is to keep pressing forward as best I can.
Good things this year:
- I made amazing progress with The Book of Daihnari. I love how it is shaping up, it's becoming what I truly want it to be, and I thank those who have helped it come this far.
- I saw some good movies like Dune Pt. 2, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, Transformers One, and War of the Rohirrim.
- I'm getting more confident in driving and might get my license this year if things hold up.
- Finally got back into animating after buying a new computer.
- I got a PS5 and with it, the Dead Space remake, which I'm eager to play.
- Explored the Mediterranean territories like Greece, Pompeii, and Rome.
Bad things this year (will spare most of the details)
- As of this year, I will no longer be making NSFW art. Non-negotiable.
- Some events and decisions in some groups have been giving me a headache.
- I finally got COVID after my trip to Europe, and it was not fun.
- I'll be honest with you, being an adult sucks
This year, I intend to approach with low expectations. I hope to get my driver's license and a new job, press forward with my YouTube projects, and I also plan to start the actual story for The Book of Daihnari soon. I already have rough draft summary templates that I'm going to work off. Big changes are on the way for me to survive 2025. I've taken enough bullshit and will not stand for any more of it. So let's hope it's at the very least decent. Let's get this over with.
